Antique Wide 12K Gold Filled Pocket Watch Chain or Necklace Wax Seal 16 1/2"

Description

We are offering for auction a huge Edwardian era gold filled rope or twist pocket watch chain with a wax seal fob and T-bar.  This watch chain is 16 1/2"  long so there is enough length to wear this as a necklace by hooking together the swivel and the giant spring ring clasp.  The swivel is marked 1/20 12K GF.  The chain was made by Binder Brothers, New York, New York. circa 1915.   The tightly woven chain measures 5mm wide and this is heavy weighing 38 grams!  Attached to the spring ring clasp is a gold filled wax seal and a gold filled T-bar.  Both can be removed or more fobs can be added.   I think this chain is in excellent used condition.  Swivel and clasp work perfectly.  Wax seal is monogrammed.  Very shiny.
