Today I am selling more of my fathers "finds". This auction is for an antique ladies watch. It comes in an original antique cardboard jewelry box from: J.E. Caldwell & Company Philadelphia. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS WATCH!!! I will try and describe it the best as I can. It is gold or brass colored. The winding mechanism is on the top. Because of the other items in the box I think this was interchangeable to either be a wristwatch or a pocket watch / fob. There are parts to make it a wristwatch, not 100% sure what the other pieces of ribbon and attachments was for. One of the tarnished gold colored pieces does read: (I think) 1/10 K D & C or D & O or D & Q ? Again, you are bidding on this with your knowledge and expertise. Any mistakes that I might have made are accidental. As far as I know this does not work. I tried to wind it and it "twists" the one way, not the other, but there was no ticking sound. I didn't want to break it. Also if the back comes off, I don't know how to do it, again afraid of doing it harm. It does say Swiss under the number 6. Approx. 1" across and 1 1/2" from top of clasp to bottom clasp.
