Victorian Mens Pocket Watch Holder

This Victorian pocket watch holder was nicely made some time during the last quarter of the 19
th
century.
It was made of cast brass and has a copper tray attached to the bottom. Brass was cast with an ornate scroll work and shell frame; fleur de lis and shells trim each corner of the tray.
Decoration suggest French make but no marks so maker unknown. Base is 3 7/8 in. x 3 7/8 in.; stands 5 3/8 in. tall, holder frame is 3 1/8 in across, space for watch is 1 5/8 in.
Bit dusty, metal toned, minor touch of verdigris on bottom.
